LIFE AFTER BUGS PEST CONTROL SERVICES

Everything is bigger in Texas, including the bugs! No matter which of these insects or rodents have decided to take up residence in your home, our LAB technicians will be sure to evict them!

Termites

Any of 2,750 species of pale-colored soft-bodied social insects (order Isoptera) that live in colonies usually consisting of three castes: Reproductives (winged sexual forms), Workers (wingless sterile forms) and Soldiers who feed on wood, some which are very destructive to wooden structures and trees. More Info

MOSQUITOS

Mosquitoes are a family of small, midge-like flies. Although a few species are harmless or even useful to humanity, most are a nuisance because they consume blood from living vertebrates, including humans. The females of many species of mosquitoes are blood-eating pests. In feeding on blood, some of them transmit extremely harmful human and livestock diseases, such as malaria. Some authorities argue accordingly that mosquitoes are the most dangerous animals on Earth. More Info

FLEAS

Fleas are holometabolous insects, going through the four life cycle stages of egg, larva, pupa, and imago (adult). Adult fleas must feed on blood before they can become capable of reproduction. More Info

ROACHES

Cockroaches are probably one of the most disgusting insects on the planet. These scurrying, scuttling insects can crawl into your home through tiny cracks, bringing pollution and disease with them. Cockroaches can carry harmful bacteria and they are also a significant cause of asthma, and their presence can exacerbate symptoms for asthma sufferers. Cockroaches also love urban environments and warm weather, which means that Houston is, unfortunately, a perfect roach breeding ground. More Info

ANTS

There are several different kinds of ants but the two most frustrating are the Carpenter Ants and the Fire Ants. Fire Ants pack a serious punch and unfortunately, they love the conditions here in Texas. Fire ants can be a terrible nuisance because they build their nests in moist soil such as your lovingly watered flower bed and yes, you’re nicely manicured lawn. More Info

BEETLES

The order Coleoptera includes more species than any other order, constituting almost 25% of all known life forms. About 40% of all described insect species are beetles (about 400,000 species) and new species are discovered frequently. Some estimates indicate the total number of species, described and undescribed, as high as 100 million, however; a figure of 1 million is more widely accepted. The largest taxonomic family, the Curculionidae (the weevils or snout beetles), also belongs to this order. More Info

CRICKETS

Crickets are omnivorous scavengers who feed on organic materials, including decaying plant material, fungi, and some seedling plants. Crickets eat their own dead when there are no other sources of food available, and exhibit predatory behavior upon weakened, crippled crickets. More Info

MICE

A mouse (plural: mice) is a small mammal belonging to the order of rodents, characteristically having a pointed snout, small rounded ears, and a long naked or almost hairless tail. The best-known mouse species is the common house mouse (Mus musculus). It is also a popular pet. In some places, certain kinds of field mice are also common. This rodent is eaten by large birds such as hawks and eagles. They are known to invade homes for food and occasionally shelter. More Info
